What we collect

When you create a Sales Tooling account we collect your name, email address, and mobile number. Your mobile number is verified once by text message (sent through Twilio) so that every account belongs to a real person; we use it only for that verification and to secure your account — never for marketing, and we never share it. The leads, notes, call logs, and emails you add to your workspace are stored so we can provide the service to you and your teammates, including the phone numbers and details of the people you add as leads.

Payments

Subscriptions are billed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers; we keep only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your subscription status, and the dates of your trial and billing period. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment data it holds.

How we use your data

Your CRM data belongs to you. We use it only to operate Sales Tooling — we do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to contact your leads. We may send you occasional product emails about your account, which you can opt out of.

Who can see your data

Only members of your workspace can see the leads, notes, and calls inside it. Authorized Sales Tooling staff can access workspace data when needed to operate, secure, support, or troubleshoot the service — for example to resolve a support issue or investigate abuse — or as required by law.

Data retention & deletion

Cancelling a paid plan does not delete your workspace — your account continues on the free Starter plan with all of your data. If you want your account or workspace permanently deleted, contact us and we will remove it along with all associated data, except billing records we are required to retain.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our advertising works. It runs on our public pages and on the confirmation page you see right after signing up or subscribing — never while you work inside the app — and reports events like page visits, starting a trial and subscribing to Meta under their Business Tools terms. We also report key events (a signup, a trial starting, a subscription payment) to Meta from our servers, so ad performance stays measurable when browsers block the pixel; those reports carry a hashed (unreadable) form of your email and name for matching, together with Meta's own browser identifiers. What we report is which pages you visit and what happens — never the contents of your CRM records, and never your mobile number, which stays exactly where the "What we collect" section promises. You can control how Meta uses this in your Meta ad preferences.

We use the Google Ads tag for the same purpose: it records the pages you visit, a trial starting and a subscription, so Google can measure our ads and show them to people like you, under Google's advertising policies. It sets Google's advertising cookies and, like the Meta Pixel, runs only on our public pages and those confirmation pages — never while you work inside the app — and on account and confirmation pages it receives only the page's address without its title or query, so a link you were emailed is never part of what Google sees. How Google uses data from sites that use its services explains the rest, and you can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the product is used — heatmaps and session replays of the screens you see, including inside the signed-in app, governed by Microsoft's privacy statement. Replays can include what was displayed on your screen; Clarity masks the text you type by default, and we use these recordings only to improve the product.

Finally, we keep a small record in your browser of which campaign first brought you here, and if you sign up we attach that record to your account so we know which advertising actually works. We do not sell your data, and the contents of your CRM records — your leads, notes, and calls — are never given to advertising platforms.

Affiliate program

If you arrive through an affiliate's referral link, we store a first-party cookie for 90 days recording which partner sent you, and if you create an account we attach that partner to it so they can be paid their commission. Partners are told that a referral signed up, whether it is on a trial or paying, and what it earned them — never your name, email, company or anything inside your workspace. Names are shown to them obscured (“J*** D***”).

If you join as an affiliate yourself, we hold your name, email, the payout details you give us and the referrals attributed to you. We ask for a tax form (W-9 or W-8BEN) by email before paying you $600 or more in a calendar year, and we do not store tax identification numbers in the product. The program terms cover the rest.
