Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Sales Tooling ("we", "us") covering your use of the Sales Tooling service at salestooling.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're agreeing for that company too, and you confirm you're allowed to.
The service
Sales Tooling is a customer relationship management tool: it stores the leads, notes, call logs, follow-ups, and related records your team adds, and helps you work them. We improve the service continuously, which means features can change; we won't materially reduce the core service you're paying for without telling you.
Your account
Creating an account requires a working email address and a mobile number, which we verify once by text message — by signing up you agree to receive that verification text (and a re-send if you request one). One verified number backs one account. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done under your account; tell us right away at support@salestooling.com if you think it's been compromised.
Free trial and billing
Sales Tooling has three plans. Starter is free. Business and Business + AI are priced per user per month, at the prices shown on the Pricing and Billing pages, and are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. One subscription covers every workspace you own: the seat count is the number of distinct people across those workspaces, each person counted once. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Business + AI that requires no payment card; during the trial you may set up to three company profiles and invite up to five teammates, and when the trial ends the account continues on the free Starter plan unless you choose a paid plan. Plan limits apply to creating new company profiles, inviting new teammates and the number of AI fills available each month — they never remove anything you've already created. Prices may change; existing subscribers get advance notice by email before any change affects them.
Cancelling
A free trial needs no cancelling: if you do nothing, it simply ends on its own — no card was taken, so nothing is charged, and your account continues on Starter. If you've subscribed, you can cancel anytime from the Billing page — no calls, no forms. Cancelling stops future charges; your paid plan keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your account continues on the free Starter plan. Nothing is deleted: your leads, notes, calls, company profiles and teammates all stay. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
Your content
The data you and your team put into Sales Tooling is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and process it in order to run the service for you. You're responsible for the content you add — including having a lawful basis to store the personal details of the people you add as leads.
Acceptable use
Don't use Sales Tooling to break the law, to spam, to store content you have no right to store, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell access. Don't try to get around verification, rate limits, or billing. We can suspend or close accounts that do, with notice where practical.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Sales Tooling fast and available, but the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost business — arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end the agreement for material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — your ownership of your content, limitation of liability — survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we'll notify account owners by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above always shows the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
